The
Congress Bill 035/2018, which establishes Yellow July, on the implementation of
annual actions against Viral Hepatitis, passed by Senate last Wednesday
(12/19).
Sponsored
by the congressman Marcos Reategui (PSC/AP), who also is the coordinator of the
Parliamentarian Front against Viral Hepatitis, the Bill is awaited to be
discussed at the Plenary since July 25.
In
the beginning of December, the president of FOAESP, Rodrigo Pinheiro, reinforced
among the Workers Party (PT) leadership in Senate, the request to put the bill forward
on daily agenda.
Addressed
from the Senate Secretariat to Minister Chief of Staff and the President of
Republic on December 20, the bill must be enacted into law by the end of this
year, after presidential approval.
