Yellow July passed by Senate and goes to presidential approval

The Congress Bill 035/2018, which establishes Yellow July, on the implementation of annual actions against Viral Hepatitis, passed by Senate last Wednesday (12/19).

Sponsored by the congressman Marcos Reategui (PSC/AP), who also is the coordinator of the Parliamentarian Front against Viral Hepatitis, the Bill is awaited to be discussed at the Plenary since July 25.

In the beginning of December, the president of FOAESP, Rodrigo Pinheiro, reinforced among the Workers Party (PT) leadership in Senate, the request to put the bill forward on daily agenda.

Addressed from the Senate Secretariat to Minister Chief of Staff and the President of Republic on December 20, the bill must be enacted into law by the end of this year, after presidential approval.

Julho Amarelo é aprovado no Senado e vai à sanção presidencial

O Projeto de Lei da Câmara 035/2018, que institui o Julho Amarelo, determinando a realização anual de ações contra as hepatites virais, foi aprovado na quarta-feira (19), pelo Plenário do Senado Federal.

O projeto, de autoria do deputado federal do Estado Amapá Marcos Reategui (PSC), também coordenador da Frente Parlamentar de Enfrentamento às Hepatites Virais, esperava entrar na pauta do plenário desde o dia 25 de junho.

No início de dezembro, o presidente do FOAESP, Rodrigo Pinheiro, reforçou junto à liderança do Partido dos Trabalhadores no Senado, o pedido de inclusão do projeto na pauta.

Encaminhado pela Secretaria de Expediente do Senado Federal ao Ministro-chefe da Casa Civil e ao Presidente da República no dia 20, o Julho Amarelo deve virar lei ainda neste ano, após ser sancionado pelo presidente.
